Dernière Fois

Warm spirits of an otherwordly aroma had surrounded him, drowned him in a cascade of of a crooked smile, his eyes were burning with the lack of blinking, but he sat happy, mellow, and far from his problems. He may have been sitting, but had taken his shoes off while he glided. The cold air had felt like sharp numbness, and grazed his face until his face was no more. Everything he held, he held with empty hands, but felt it all. He stood straight, but was still slanting, even as he walked, he barely touched the ground. When it was over, and the ligt had gone out, he grabbed his torch and another candle of happiness and ignited his satisfaction once again.

Literature Analysis

So I have been reading this book called 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and the book is absolutely captivating. The book is a fiction book based in modern day at first, then switches to 1963 throughout the book, and does a great job of really detailing and immersing yourself in the novel. The novel follows a time traveler by the name of Jacob "Jake" Epping, a teacher who teaches people who want their GED completed. Around the beginning, or somewhere along the introduction, he assigns an essay about a day that impacted their lives, and the school janitor writes about the day his family was killed by his alchoholic father, and was hurt in the process as well, and given permanent brain damage because of it. The book skips 2 years ahead, to 2011, and the janitor graduates. Jacob visits a diner and meets with Al, the owner, and talk to him about things, more like small talk. The next day, Jacob finds that Al looks like he's aged tremendously, coughing severely and slowly dying. It i...

Here's what I learned today.

So today, my classmates and I Skyped a very respected, very high-shelf professor, and one of my mentors, and she talked to us about how she assigned her class to learn from our class, and I was actually willing to do so, because I would like to learn from that class for mostly techniques, any tips for a better understanding on how to better myself in the musical industry. What I got from the call was actually really helpful, because it came to my understanding that in order to keep those nerves off is to just play, perform, and go through with it, either that, or just not care that others are around. I think that was kind of a boost of self esteem to hear that from a professional.

Satire Experience

Honestly, it hurt to say those words, I felt very displeased and uneasy knowing that these things are said around the country, especially by Americans. Ignorance is bliss, but it's also a deterrent, because those who don't know what's happening around them, don't know how to react, which side to choose, how to defend their own opinions.

My Satire

Alright, we know Trump is bad, so let's give him a chance. Let's see how far he gets. Let's see how much immigrants he cam kick out. Lets cheer him on, help him out, racially call out any immigrants, those who aren't supposed to be here, let's tell them how bad it is since they've been here, how little jobs us Americans have because they steal all of them, they don't belong here. They got here illegally, they are breaking the law for even breathing in this country. So what if they sturggled to be here, they shouldn't have come in the first place. So what if their children were born here, that doesn't make them American, that makes them half illegal, which is still illegal.
